Gale spits some more blood out of his mouth as Cloud comes down out him, but this time he was ready. "Farewell, Cloud Strife!" Gale flies with Sin pointed upward and crashes into Cloud, Sin piercing his chest. Luckly for Cloud, the wound is not fatal, but enough to stop him. As the two combatans fall the the floor, Gale pulls Sin out of Cloud. "Now, time to end this meaningless life and effort." Gale aims Sin at infront of him, and negative as well as positive energy sure through it. He uses it to create a rift similliar to Ranna's. "Enjoy yourselves as you battle into the final moments of your lives."

Legion howls in pain as he is hit by the blast and thrown toward the fallen Cloud.

The Archdemon rises before Cloud, a smirk on his face. "Well it seems your host will survive, Havoc. You, on the other hand...will be getting to now me in a much closer way." Legion grabs Cloud by the face and his claw glows red, drawing Havoc into himself and out of Cloud.

Meanwhile, in Estecia Valley AKA 'The Valley of Lost Souls'

Gale steps through his portal, infront of the ancient ruins that dot the valley near his castle. "It's almost over, Lae-" Gale is interrupted by a crash behind him. In other words, Ayn. "...You know, something told me this would end with you as my final obstacle."

A pair of feet step up next to Fury's body as Rand looks away. Kyushin's voice speaks concisely to Rand. "Did you do this?" The unmistakable sound of metal leaving its sheath follows. He already knew, of course.

Ayn fumbles around for her sword, she had dropped it on impact. She grips it and jumps to her feet, the anger boiling over again. "You bastard..."

Inside, she wages a battle against her instincts. "Let Gaia consume you, Ayn. You can defeat this mortal easily if you do."
"No! I can't afford to waste my energy that quickly. I still have one shot.. It's all I have now.." She swallows, glaring at Gale with malicious intent.

Rand's amusement is similar to someone who had just stumbled across a large sum of money. "Kyushin.. How nice to see you."

The air behind Rand whistles and the tip of Kyushin's sword presses into his back. For perhaps the first time, Kyushin seems to show some amount of emotion in his voice. His steely glare has become accented with anger. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't cut you apart piece by piece right now."

Gale draws Sin and takes a relaxed stance. "Such tired words. It's simple. Victory for us requires the other's demise. There is no need to say further. Though it is intresting, that after almost twelve years it's come to a final battle between the two of us." Gale takes a very precise and concentrated stance. "Let's see if the strength of Gaia can match my own!" Gale lunges at Ayn, Sin poised to strike.

Before Legion could even taste the newfound power he had aquired from Havoc, his estatic joy was shattered by teeth-gnashing pain as his torso was ripped off from his waist. As if none other than God Himself had struck him down, he was tossed like a doll across the room in two bloody halves. Be it by chance or divine intervention, Cloud had struck him the only time he could be truly harmed, during absorbtion. The Archdemon screeches in pain, his voice no longer human in any sense. "Wretched mortal!! Damn you! DAMN YOU!! ...R..a...Rand....Help...me!!!" Legion throws up vast amounts of blood, near death.

Kyushin glances at Legion's maimed half. "Peh. That's one less for me to--" He pauses mid-sentence and his eyes widen at the realization. "****! Why hadn't I seen it before?..." He sets the thought aside to keep himself from acting too much on it. The sword presses harder into Rand's back.

Ayn sidesteps out of the way, and holds her sword up in a defensive position. She bites her tongue at the urge to strike, right now she needed to let him attack first. This was a game of stamina and in their past few fights Gale had won because of it. She'd have to try to tire him out first.

Rand chuckles. "It's rather simple, Kyushin. If you kill me, you still have them to deal with." By this time Rand had unleashed a small group of synthetic demons better known as Doomsdays. They loom over the group: An ogre-type creature with fangs as long as Ray of Light, dripping with blood and mucus; and a bull, its hooves bending the marble under its weight.

Rand quickly ducks and sidesteps, shaking his head at the sight of Legion. He reaches into his pocket again and the orb giggles madly while taking a nosedive at Legion's forehead. "That should be efficient, demon.. But I seem to have lost another one." There's another giggle as Legion gains another synthetic demon. "There it is."

As Gale passes he hold out his hand towards Ayn and releases a flurry of orbs toward her. He then speeds forward, putting distance between himself and Ayn.

Legion convulses and clutches his head in agony. It doesn't take long for his lower half to regenerate, but his transformation is far from complete. His hands soon turn to knive-like claws. Soon after his wings extend and his teeth turn to fangs. Finally, horns sprout from his forhead, his hair grows silver streaks and his eyes gleam red. All the while, the Archdemon screams in pain as he battles for his will. There is a burst of silver light, and the metamorphisis is completed. The new Legion stands calmly before the group, slowly reverting to a more humanoid state. Now all the are evident are his fangs, red eyes, and silver streaks in his hair. His voice sounds similliar, but more menacing. "What a dirty tactic. It seems the effects you were hoping for weren't as strong as anticipated, proffesor." Despite the referal to Rand's 'betrayal', there is no malice geared toward him. It seems that some of Legion's free will was lost in the mental battle.

((I've been wanting to do this for a while. Now, I present: Hayate goes medival on yo' ass :p))

Hayate has been too busy to really notice the events currently progressing around the castle. The runes that were forming around his feet migrate out to form a perfect circle around him, while another, larger symbol forms in the middle.
With a pulse of dark energy, the symbols seem to becomes holes in reality itself, darkness that seems infinite. Hayate has time to laugh briefly at the events going on arround him before a pillar of the darkness blasts up through the floor, seemingly consuming him. As the pillar seems to fluctuate in size, runes in the circle seem to change from being mere runes to words clearly readable in english;

A few seconds after the final word dissolves back into meaningless symbols, the pillar collapses in on itself, revealing Hayate. Or, rather, the old Hayate. Purple/white lightning seems to coruscate over his body, and his coat seems to have disappeared, replaced by a pair of wings. On the left, the angelic one unfurls as he stretches it, while the demonic wing remains folded neatly against his back.

Oh... It's been too long!

He turns to see one of Rand's Doomsday demons leering down at him and smiles. A ball of dark energy, drawn straight from the seething nothingness that forms the basis of reality, forms in his left hand and his hurled straight at the creature's head. Before it's even impacted, he seems to blink out of sight, appearing behind the creature's head, Murasame swinging downwards in amongast Hayate's laughter

((Medival indeed. It took me a while to come up with a response. :p))

The ogre-demon utters a deafening roar from the bottom of its throat, and it swings at the blast of energy from Hayate with its spike-studded club. However, it underestimates the momentum of the blast and the club is sent hurtling backwards out of its hands and straight at the wall that Lara is standing next to. The sword creates a thin, neat slice across the ogre-demon's tough outer layer of skin, however there is no sensory tissue so it does not feel the cut.

Rand smirks. "Before I go.. I believe I'll up the ante in our favor." He turns to Legion. "Teach Kyushin the consequences of turning against me." He starts to walk towards the wall from which he came, but pauses a moment to stare at Cloud, who was blocking his path. His eye glimmers for a second, and he steps over Cloud and towards the wall. The wall's rock dissolves into the same liquid as before, and he steps through it, disappearing. The wall hardens once he's through it.

Ayn volleys the orbs by hitting them with her sword, and again makes no attempt to strike back. She stands in a crouched position, calcuating Gale's next move.

Legion nods in response to Rand's command and then snarls at Cloud, but for the moment he does not acknowledge him further. He turns to Kyushin, a smile on his face.[/i] "Just accept your inevitable death. You may be one Rand's creations, but me? I'm the best of both worlds." Legion lunges at Kyushin, slashing at him with his large, claw-like hand.

Lara screams as the club nearly brings part of the wall down on her, and dives out of the way with Bianca's body. She set's the lifeless girl safetly off to the side, as unneccesary as it was, and then turns to the Doomsday Hayate is fighting. "That son of a bitch..." Lara begins to make her way to the Doomsday, but the second, bull-like, one nearly gores her. She shrieks and is sent into a bookcase. "Oh...God...that hurt..."

Gale frowns, Ayn was playing the defensive game. The Abbis decides to humor her, at least for now. Gale charges at her again, assaulting Ayn with a flurry of sword swipes and stabs.

Riki, Rikali, and Roselenna had watched the battle with a growing sense of rage. By chance, their eyes meet. A fierce determination glows in each. Roselenna leaps on to the back of Rikali. Riki makes a move to join them, but Rikali stops her. "You are no longer a part of this. Fight by the side of Hayate, for he does love you. Fight in that name, Riki Uth Haun. Fight for love." The words rumble around Riki's head.


Mother and daughter face the bull boldly. Katayk's love and strength is felt in the heart of the family. Torn by war, by blood, by loss and love, the two forget their differences to fight as a family. Speaking words of a rich and ancient tounge, Roselenna lends her energy and part of her spirit to the the bull.

Rikalenna screeches, shattering the windows of the castle. The power rolls off of her like a force in itself. Leaping forward, a ball of white-lightning energy forms in her mouth. She releases it, filling the room with a blinding brillant white light.


Riki Uth Haun, in the meantime, struggles to reach Hayate and is stunned and blinded by the awesome blast. "Hayate!"

With almost no time to react, Kyushin pivots so his side faces towards Legion and takes a step back, allowing him to pass by rather clumsily. He mutters to himself as the demon roars by. "Obnoxious little bastard..." His katana comes down in one hand and slices across Legion's exposed back, washing more blood across the floor. With the first strike dealt he leaps back to wait for the freak's next move.

Gale is growing annoyed with Ayn's tactics and fires the familliar bubble at her. "Are you all bark and no bite?"

Legion twirls around once he's passed Kyushin, a grin on his face as his back heals. "Unfortunately for you, I can regenerate. However, the enigmatic Fury One would give me great power. Enjoy this fight, for it will be the last time you will exist as you do know." With a cackle Legion charges again at an incrediable speed.

The Bull demon is thrown backwards and skids across the marble floor. It rises with a ear-splitting roar. The beast then opens its large mouth, and begins to 'inhale' energy in preperation for an attack.

Lara spits some blood out of her mouth, and takes Cloud's hand. "Thanks...and here I thought you were down for the rest of it after what Gale did to you."

A shot echoes in the room. Riki had shot at Cloud's back. Holding the morphed Vengeance in a white-knuckled hand, Riki shoots again. "Leave Lara alone! What's the matter with you? You're on our side!"

*Upon walking through the opposite side of the tapestry, Kadino was suddenly transported yet again to some foriegn location. This time everything was dark, too dark for eyes accustomed to darkness to see anything; and there was almost no room to move about, not to mention the stifling smell... but there was almost no air!*

THINK! Wait, be calm, but think. Jail Cell? Another Plane?

*With only the sense of touch undulled, Kadino searches his confines and finds bones*

A Coffin? I must be buried under the ground! But why did I emerge here?

Riki screams in pain and goes down on to her good knee. Tears drip off her nose and onto the ground. They shimmer in the light. After gasping for breath for a couple moments, Riki overcomes the pain, thrusting it to the back of her mind. She may never walk correctly again, but that doesn't mean she can't keep fighting. Riki looks at the tears, sees her reflection glittering inside.

"For love." The tears begin to grow in size, until they forge together and create a tiny pool. The water begins to boil. With her mind, Riki sends the the tears up off the ground and rikocheting towards Cloud. "I said to leave her alone!"

Anticipating Legion's charge, Kyushin closes his eyes and seems to warp out of the demon's path and behind him so they're back to back for an immeasurable instant. With his eyes still closed, Kyushin twists the katana around in his hand and delivers a backwards cut straight through Legion's knee before he passes out of range. The archdemon continues to speed ahead, short a leg.

((In an effort not to kill enthusiasm, I will not postpone posting until Sunday as originally planned. Megiddo cannot be finished until Ayn comes back on that day, but due to all the fighting you guys are involved in I won't have this thread put on hold. However, do realize that all the library battles might tend to drag on due to this. On the other hand, there seems potential for some character development, as well as more opportunities for posting for those who don't get the chance as often. So in summary, feel free to post. Just remember that it won't even be over until Sunday (if we even finish that day. Finally, I will take temporary (if needed) control of Ayn's doomsday.))

The Archdemon (if he could even be called this anymore) crashes to the marble floor at the loss of his leg but he doesn't seem anything other than amused. His leg soon regenerates again, a wide grin spread across Legion's face. "You're almost as fun to play with as Goldilocks. If I hadn't received such a power boost, I might not have been able to keep up." Legion flicks his wrists and two short swords slide out of his sleeves. The Demon takes a stance, a maniacal gleam in his red eyes. Legion makes a "Come here" motion with his hand to taunt the eldest Fury to attack him.

The Bull-Doomsdays feel no pain from it's adversary's attack, only annoyance. The Bull bucks in an attempt to gore the Dragon-Demon, but finds assistance in its Ogre sibling, which while injured by Hayate's vicious attack, was far from out of the fight. With a roar the Ogre-Demon delivers a punch with the force equivalent to a wrecking ball.

Lara had barely managed to scramble away from the shotgun blasts that ripped the overturned table (and nearly her) to pieces. She was currently taking a breather behind a bookcase, blood trickling down the Abbis' forehead. She begins to climb to bookcase, attempting to get a vantage point on the Demon-Possessed Cloud.

Riki struggles under Cloud's hold. Would he really kill her? They had fought on the same side! Feeling her breath shortening, she begins to panic and tries to tear herself free. A futile attempt, for she is pinned well. "Help..." The plea is weak. She feels dizzy and things begin to darken.

The Dragon-demon roars in pain as the Ogre's punch shatters her shoulderbone. Luckily for her, it also moved her out of the path of the Bull's attack. Enraged, she charges at the Bull, impaling it on her horned head and throwing it at the Ogre.
